Per the Strait's partial/tentative reopening: who counts as a US or Israeli ally? Obviously the GCC as they're still being struck.

French assets have been struck in Iraq: do they count?

There's too much uncertainty for the banks to give the OK to go: what if things go full crazy town and they are put in a vice of relying on Iran to escort tankers (protecting them from Iran) while the escorts are under US assualt?

That's a nice one!

Allies getting protection from Iran against the US 🤣.

In today's bizarro world... You might even be right!

What are Fundamental Price Gold and Fundamental Price Silver? Will any listener explain in few sentences, please?

The Gold Fundamental Price is a proprietary model by Monetary Metals that attempts to strip out futures market speculation and show only "real" physical supply/demand pressure.

The core mechanism: futures traders with access to great leverage can push or pull the price significantly, at least for a while - the fundamental price backs them out of the market price to show just the underlying fundamentals.

How it works: by analyzing the spread between spot and futures prices (the "basis"), they get a measure of gold's abundance or scarcity. A rising basis signals relative abundance (bearish), a falling basis/rising cobasis signals relative scarcity (bullish). This is then fed into their proprietary model.

Thanks for explaining that derivation.

I just encountered an alternative worldview lens, CACTUS (Complexity Accelerated Collapse of a Thermodynamically Unsustainable System), found here:

https://un-denial.com/2025/11/30/the-cactus-lens-a-clearer-view/

One of the multiple tenants relates to the Iran war and oil flows: "Scarcity of the critical mineral or energy triggers a system wide technology breakdown cascade because many technologies depend on it, and many other technologies depend on those technologies, via an ultra-complex network of dependencies.".

After understanding the basics of CACTUS from the above, I next read this worst case scenerio few appear to be factoring in their analysis: AI Predicts 78 Days to CACTUS with Hormuz Closed:

https://un-denial.com/2026/03/12/ai-predicts-78-days-to-cactus-with-hormuz-closed/

Summary: "Hideaway informed us that the Gemini AI he has been training to understand his CACTUS theory predicts it will take only 6 months for modernity to collapse, and this will begin after 90 days of Hormuz being closed.".

Worth a peek, with balance, since doom porn may be a real addiction, which some succumb to ...

Though Cactus does sound like the most advantageous and prescient view of a collapsing modernity, some of its parts, therefore it’s sum, read like humanity is free of the effects of polarity.

Each statement, in fact, especially when weighed against the never-ending permutations we might derive for their interaction with each and one-another, is both true and false at once.

Also, it is rather complicated.

Nature held abundance for, and perfectly supported the animal known as human. Humans recognised the workings behind the abundance and sought to extract it, rather than grow with it.

Extraction depleted, depleted nature killed humans. The end.

Dynamic balance…now, there’s a thing.

Not sitting on an unmoving fence (that was sold to keep you working, and so becoming extreme to serve the economic cycle) dynamic balance (if you have ever seated yourself on a short moving fence) moves that fence back and forth in ever expanding increments, until you either stop it rocking, or fall off due to extreme movement.

Dynamic balance is the energy birthing cell and baby alike. DB is the energy that the universe unfolded from and will contract through (think black holes, and think multi-universally)

Dynamic balance is sought between all things natural, and therein lies the simplicity of survival.

Humans don’t need much, but we think like we do.

CACTUS is on the right track, but the complex nature of the argument is exactly what will undo it - because it sounds like too much thought.

To chose just one example f from the written piece:

“Trump reversed his no more regime change promises after being sworn in and briefed about US debt and oil forecasts.”

False – and please, if you don’t know why this statement is false and need to ask why then go watch Trump’s million+ appearances once again, but on a different news channel to your favourite. (That said I will take the time to explain, if I must).

Also, there are more instances than I care to mention where conclusions are reached through narrow analysis. In fact, The understanding of polarity itself undermines each assertion other than that which is most simple.

Humans can balance with their environment wherever the environment is treated as the only lifeline they have.

IMHO: the Ramadan War is not about nuclear-related uses, nor about oil/commodity flows, nor even about Iran's empire of chaos. It is about the importance of Iran as a near-future economic node (a key one at that). The INSTC, International North-South Transportation Corridor, is up and running, linking St. Petersburg to Mumbai. The in-progress land corridor from Shanghai to Lisbon is fixin to utilize Iran.

Side note: the USS Iwo Jima's transit reminds me of the common Navy joke: Why are US Marines stationed aboard skimmers (surface vessels)?

Sheep are too obvious.
