Wow. Gold and Silver. I wanna find some. I live in Castlemaine - the site of the richest goldfield in the world in the 1850's (5 million ounces) and I don't own a detector.

Damn man! Get yourself a beeper 😁

I’ve got the opposite problem: I’ve got the detector, but there’s no gold here 😂

Well our chickens are back to laying en masse after the winter doldrums. Almost a dozen eggs per day. Also time to plant the gardens. Will be growing a massive amount of potatoes this year. Decided to convert some Exxon stock into building materials to build a large greenhouse that increases food production. Got completely out of our BTC position. Tangible assets don’t really care about inflation or war or pedophile blackmail rings involving compromised goyim.

Got out of the burbs in 2022, moved to a very rural location and have been working on our homestead since then. Left corporate America (net engineer) in 2023 after a 20 year career. Run my own (very) small business now as a gen contractor. LOVE the tax benefits of things like cash payments. Enjoy building things and working with my hands.

Basically our plan to ride out the storm is to be more Amish. Seems that community was incredibly ahead of its time.

Any tricks up your sleave on the process of finding land at a discount (non mining use :))) )?

Are you saying you think there might possibly be some trouble ahead at some point for a few things?

No1's avatar

Nah mate, it'll be jolly. Absolutely tickety-boo.

Splendid then! Let's have another cup of tea eh?

Comment to "Gold: touch & go?" ....

I wonder how this chart would look with a log filter. Would it still "touch and go"?

No1's avatar

I just compared both for you: on the log-chart it's touch & go, on the non-log chart, it didn't even touch the trendline. So I think this is a log chart. A bit hard to see on this zoom level.

Thank you No1 :) Nice to know. The IPO channels they operate by (contractually fixed at IPOs) are log based to confuse the enemy.

I brought 10 ton of compost today…mulch too.

Just saying.

GDX, yes might be time to start nibbling.

Touch & go? Gold (like AG) it’s a question of, one more flush?

Silver hugging & Silver’s not looking good. It ISN’T. Big question – will we see a drop to low 50s?? Silvers high x fib 38.2% = 46.52!! Now, that will be VERY painful. Also, GSR lately mid 60s. Next big move UP or DOWN is a secondary big issue for repositioning, etc.

Top 1%. Oh yeah. Reps (lessor evil) or Dems, doesn’t matter. Rich keeps getting richer, middle class keeps getting squeezed. For now, the poor are well taken care of. Sooner or later there might be a great culling. // I've been thinking lately. All these billionaires in the news so often (the Musk's, Bezos,...) I feel we're lessor to them than the serfs were to the nobility in FEUDAL times 😧 We must be in the FUTILE era! 🙃

Consumer sentiment. It might get worse – much worse.

Oil. As crazy as silver. Depending on the ME, SA, etc., it could go parabolic or a mini crash. I’m staying away. Silver & other PM is exciting enough for me!

MSFT. The mag 7 aren’t looking so mag lately. I’ve been thinking of shorting. What did I say about PM?

S&P and Monday’s… you don’t mean to imply manipulation?!

Hmm, very interesting. Why are Foreigners dumping Asian stocks?

Ahh VIX. Several weeks ago, I lost patience and sold my VXX at a modest loss. It’s recently topped 40, now 38+ I’m keeping an eye on it.
