Excellent breakdown No1

It looks like everything in the market is disjointed from reality.

Cashed out of the casino a while back with a few long, confidence in this shit with orange man and his ilk at the helm, is a portfolio train wreck.

Yes it was. That 1989 market cap chart almost, but not quite, captures the "Japs are coming!" atmosphere. Covers of trade magazines yelling "Japan's fifth generation computers will wipe us out (give us money)!" were all the rage.

Supplement with William Gibson's "Neuromancer" cyberpunk SF ad libitum. Set in "Chiba City, Japan", of course. (If memory serves, Gibson later clarified he didn't know, or care, jack about computers, was just painting the scene.)

Well the markets went from Fed forbearance to Trump’s real time posts.

When does it all come crashing down? What will it take for it to finally unwind?

So. Did it penetrate yet? That the money for financial profits doesn't actually exist and has to be printed continuously and that the more you print, the more, sooner and faster you need to print more?

Since Blackrock was the star at the last WEF get together, my guess is never.

40% by the big three last time I looked.

Shenanigans and new rules of the game... by the time we all figure it out, will have been robbed blind.

Strange that I did not got any (other) reactions for that callout block 😉

Pardon my paltry knowledge of banking/crypto/FX and the like but,

does your post tie in somewhat with XRP's post?

Not really, and also that post doesn't really make sense to me.

If Japan needs dollars, it doesn't need a settlement rail, it needs USD.

XRP moves value between parties that already have value. It doesn't create dollar liquidity by itself.

Besides... There are already existing legacy rails that handle this.

So no, not believing that part.

Money is just promises of future payment. Ultimately, monetary systems are just rationing system. And anything built on top of them is ultimately deleterious to the real economy.

To save the person who just wants to buy groceries and turn on the heating you need to move beyond money, banks and capitalism. It's not that complicated.

I'm with you there!

I'm a bit on the fence here... One part I see the world and how it is, which makes me a cynique, and one part I see how they are overplaying their hand, which makes me hopeful that it'll open enough people's eyes... [ref: https://no01.substack.com/p/theyre-not-even-trying-anymore]

Well, have you opened your own eyes, yet, as to the imperious need to move beyond money, banks or capitalism (for financial profit/for money printing operated society)? Still not? Need more time to open your eyes as to financial profits necessarily being money printing and from money printing and to the fact that the more you print, the sooner, faster you need to print more to keep the rate of growth of the money supply (and thus the average possible rate of financial profit) from asymptotically approaching 0%, which would happen if the rate of growth of the money supply slowed below geometric for long enough? Have you opened your eyes to banking being legalized fraud yet? Have you opened your eyes as to fiat currency being indispensable, foundational and synonymous with financial profit (capitalism) because the only way you can expand the money supply geometrically for any appreciable length of time is if you allow fiat currency to be tender and allow the fraud of banking to be legal so as to furnish you with the required fiat currency creation? Have you opened your eyes to money being just promises of future payment and not actual payment in and of itself? Have you opened your eyes to monetary systems being just rationing systems and behavioral control systems employed by the ruling or owner cast or class (or species) and applied to and employed against the working class and their dependents?

If you haven't opened your own eyes to any of this, why would you expect or hope others to open their eyes to anything at all?

Aren't you concerned your future will grimace with cringe when recalling your present self and your obtuseness, lack of insight and/or lack of imagination?
