Well, they already have been invaded by actual aliens. The invaders may as well be from another planet.

I wrote an article about how these sorts of thought experiments are important, regardless of your belief in aliens and UFOs: https://mazetometanoia.substack.com/p/you-dont-have-to-believe-in-ufos?utm_source=share&utm_medium=android&r=70xdhm

Along with protecting the Bank of England from aliens, humanity should plan out our military strategy in case the aliens intend to invade. I recommend that we trick the aliens into taking over Afghanistan first. That should keep them busy for a couple hundred years.

Don't worry, I've seen enough movies where the superheroes of the American army beat these predators to pulp. I for one am not worried. Not in the slightest.

With generals like this, how can we lose (https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Rachel_Levine) ?

Maybe go with my Afghanistan plan. lol

The closest example to aliens landing on Earth we have is the European discovery of the Americas and what happened to native Americans afterwards. Not pretty.

This event is also so unpredictable, might as well prepare a stress test for an asteroid crashing on Earth (and no BOE, this is not a request to do this....).

This news reminds me of the story about Byzantin experts debating of what sex were the angels while Constantinople was sieged by the Turks :p

"This news reminds me of the story about Byzantin experts debating of what sex were the angels while Constantinople was sieged by the Turks."

Yet, here you are, debating about "civilized" Christian European settlers overtaking a 5000+ year stone age CULTure that was was unable to advance/coalesce into a functioning civilization to evolve & benefit from an entire continent they OCCUPIED while at the same time their European counterparts were able to evolve from more-or-less the same level, eventually exploring for new "unknown" territories/trading routes, while native Americans "innocents" lived like cavemen & busy murdering each other and/or sacrificing their children to their gods.

What's next, are you going to posit that European settlers took advantage of the low IQ "native Americans", who were sitting on invaluable gold, silver & oil deposits (among others) that were/are the greatest in known history, stole their wealth by exploiting technology & working like dogs and/or died to extract precious metals from Gaia Earth?

If the "white" man hadn't shown up, loosing a few horses in the process, the "native American" geniuses would no doubt *still* be running about on foot to & fro, driving buffalo/deer off cliffs so that they didn't starve to death...

I am a descendant of settlers who fled religious prosecution in the 1600s, survived brutal assaults by "native American" savages & went on to build the greatest civilization in the history, creating the electricity & your GUI computer which you are free to misuse to spread your worthless low IQ virtue signalling garbage with.

All the while humanity must evolve -or- collapse & the best you can do is spew blood libel & tribalism...

And so, you may appreciate: in 1941, the man who would become my father went to his girlfriend's home to meet her father (later my grandfather), who proudly remarked that his own family had "arrived" in 1631. To which my father retorted, "Well, better late than never!" (1620)

Ha Ha, great analysis No 1 - thank you for a long laugh. Whatever planet these CB nerds live in, it's not planet Earth. Maybe, just maybe, they were the Aliens all along over the centuries quietly framing a bloodless coup in case there is still Ag to be found in the Earth's mantle. Lizards? Silicon-based life forms? My imagination is running wild!

Sorry for the off-topic but it's funny that you mention picnic. Are you familiar with Russian sci-fi and in particular with Strugatski's "Roadside picnic"? It's a great novel, describing Earth after aliens have visited it, gone without even noticing us, and left incomprehensible to us stuff, because for them we were just like ants, they were having a picnic and have left garbage behind.

I did not know. But now I just HAVE to 😉. I'm going to see if I can source this in the local library (unlikely) or maybe online somewhere.

Thanks for the tip!

Brings to mind how Christian men of honor created modern society that we all enjoy & take for granted, that is now being run by imbecilic apparatchik actors that are educated beyond their intellectual capabilities, now invaded by third world savages that are incapable of becoming civilized & wholly incapable of even maintaining the systems they have conspired to exploit.

Yeah, I have a very optimistic outlook on where the inebriated circus known as modern "humanity" is headed...

Maybe I should go read some fantastical book imagined by speculative fiction writers that were products of the Bolshevik nightmare.

On second thought, I think I'll pray & meditate upon forgiving humanity for abandoning the good will of The Loving, Healing, Creative Power of Divine Life...

Great comedy, NO1.

On a serious note, BoE is obfuscating a much bigger problem.

What we're seeing is the collapse of Europe in real time.

Europe is led by a self-destructive, corrupt, delusional and incompetent band of idiots who need something to blame for their malfeasance. They plan to send the unemployed masses to die in a war against the bad Ruskies instead of turning against them and rightfully hanging them all from the nearest tree or lampost. The Mussolini necktie. lol

No1's avatar

Well, we could always ask those new European citizens to prove they love their new continent? Hey? Where did they disappear to?

Very strange for example that when war was not on the menu those army recruitment ads (in the UK at least) showed a mix of skin tones.

But now when the admin seemingly truly wants to go to war, it's all white people in these ads??

There are quite a few articles about the self-destruction, but I think this maybe takes the crown: https://no01.substack.com/p/how-to-bankrupt-a-continent ?

With half (or more) of the population subscribing to the narrative that we went to the moon but trashed the technology and must now recreate it, fifty plus years later, I treat all media and news as infotainment, at best.

.

However, I've yet to encounter a politician who wasn't sociopathic to psychopathic (like a political autism spectrum), so I treat these specific sorts of leaders' gaslights as trolling mechanisms.

Angel 311's avatar

In my opinion they want to induce panic in the financial system and they will do it by all means. This will happen in the UK and in the USA or Europe, for now it is just the beginning. At some point bond investors from the countries mentioned above will panic sell trillions of dollars of treasuries in panic and someone will make a fortune buying them at penny prices. All this money that managed to escape from bonds or the collapsed stock market will take refuge in gold & silver which will reach ATH and expensive margins. At some point governments will create a liquidity crisis people will run to blocked ATMs to withdraw money for food, but they will have a withdrawal limit, and a smart investor ,a mole of the LMBA or Comex will sell gold& silver at the right time triggering a profit-taking panic. Many will sleep at that time remaining trapped with gold at ATH for another 40 years. This movie is not even worth a free ticket to watch because it was made in the 70s-80s. The scenario began with the war in Ukraine, the blocking of Russian money, the Covid crisis, the Brics dedollarization, CDBC ,and now the aliens attacking the Bank of England.House prices will collapse due to lack of liquidity and lack of jobs ,increased taxes and insurance ,and many families with their wealth wiped out will end up living on the street in cardboard boxes. Once the system is broken, lending will resume and a new great cycle will begin. All the world governments participate in this scenario which in public space invoke the conflict, but behind closed doors they hatch plans to rob their own uninformed citizens. And Trump's shenanigans with Venezuela, Greenland, Iran, or Xi's invasion of Taiwan are nothing more than a smokescreen and a cheap circus to distract attention from what is really going to happen in the global economy.

I would like you to do your own research on these scenarios and take advantage of your followers to warn them and teach them how to manage the situation. I wish you success if you do it ,and people will thank you one day if you show them the way.

No1's avatar

I think you missed about the 200 previous articles I have written so far 😉.

I agree with a lot of the points you made.

And that's the WHOLE reason I started writing... To warn people to get out of debt, out of fiat for as much as possible. To become self-sufficient...

It's been lonely. Of the 8B people on earth, I only reach a 0.00004% 🤓

(maybe 1 extra view on real estate: western populations are getting old, and replacement is not even close to be enough - unless you count importing foreigners, so even if mortgages etc won't collapse, those prices will in 20 years simple due to demographics).

Angel 311's avatar

I know you're trying to tell them this, but my opinion is that you're doing it too veiledly and softly. In my opinion, people don't read your articles in depth, you should be much more explicit and tougher in your speech. I wish you success and continue with your work.

That's just who I am. I present the facts as I see them. You do you. 😉

BTW, I think -despite the way you write- you have a kinder heart than I have. I don't want to spend too much energy on warning people. The ones that are receptive will get the message anyhow, and the ones that won't? Then I better spend the time on my close (and extended) family.

Teach them?

Who you talkin' about Willis, we're on the verge of quantum computing & most folks can't stop eating Cheetos® made with glyphosated maize covered in the best Magic Cheese Powder® that mad scientists in corporate bioweapon labs could artificially create within p/e ratios established by Ivy League/Oxbridge MBA parasites...

" know you're trying to tell them this, but my opinion is that you're doing it too veiledly and softly. In my opinion, people don't read your articles in depth, you should be much more explicit and tougher in your speech. I wish you success and continue with your work."

Maybe you should just start your own blog & save the human critters, maybe team up with General Rachel Levine, who somehow convinced a large swath of humanoids that he was a she, even winning USA Today to name him as a women of the year in 2022, which recognizes women who have made a significant impact on society.

I, for one, welcome our ET overlords, as they might actually identify some hairless great apes that would be empathetic & enthusiastic in assigned leadership positions & wouldn't sell out the species to child predators...

But, you know, Aliens.

It was all the Aliens fault for the out-of-control predators imploding our civilizations...

It. Was. All. Their. Fault.

When most Westerners fail to read and understand a 5th grade text, it's often not their fault. It's the underfunded education system that created them and the disillusioned and unqualified teachers. A lot of them work a lot and don't have time to study, others are ignorant, please don't blame them. But if you can wake up a few of them who imagine that growing gold and silver is not a good thing for them and explain to them why, I think you've added a bit of education that was missing in school, family and society.

This is the future of our society.

No1's avatar

The system indeed failed them. But how did we get here?

""Gradually, then suddenly""

Intelligence isn't given to everyone, so those can't be taught. No matter how hard you try. That's why in my writings I try and give loads of examples in order to make it easy digestible. So it can be wide spread, used as a stepping stone to understanding.

The problem however is like Poet says already starting with our food. Which is too highly processed, creating sugar storms in our bodies. Combine that with a never-ending flow of input from different sources and you'll get the attention span of a goldfish. And then you're basically brainwashed ala Huxley. That would require a HUGE amount of effort to pull you out.

The problem in education also is that it focuses too much on equality these days, and not on merits. If not enough people pass, the schools get punished, so they lower the bars. Instead of seeing like "what did my best people do"? And focus on that?

That however would require a complete change in our society. And it's stressful! (just look towards China!!) I wouldn't want that for our kids. But maybe there's a way between. Something that keeps the creativity that is cut out in China, but keep the merit-based system that China has (and we had before)?

Angel 311's avatar

I agree with the opinions, but governments, public opinion encourages consumer society not money saving, mediocrity in exchange for meritocracy, enmity instead of friendship. Look at many billionaires in the West, they sold their stocks, their houses and changed everything into gold a long time ago and moved to Asia. Their children speak fluent Chinese and are creating their future there. I'm sorry to say, but Western society will go through a dark period, maybe it will recover but only after a revolution like in 1789 will take place, and the current political and technofeudal bourgeoisie will be guillotined.
